This is an authentic, handcrafted Navajo squash blossom necklace made by the talented silversmith Selena Warner. A beautiful representation of traditional Diné artistry, this piece combines substantial sterling silver weight with vivid, natural turquoise stones.
The Artist & Hallmark
- Maker: Signed with the artist’s characteristic "SW" hallmark alongside a "Sterling" stamp.
- Craftsmanship: Hand-wrought using traditional Southwestern techniques, including hand-stamping and bezel-set stonework.
Gemstones & Silver Details
- Turquoise: Features multiple high-grade natural turquoise cabochons. The stones display a beautiful blue hue with an organic matrix that provides unique character.
- The Naja: A large, striking central crescent (Naja) measuring 2 3/4 inches x 3 1/4 inches, heavily adorned with turquoise settings.
- Beadwork: The necklace is strung with seamless sterling silver beads, classically transitioning from a double strand at the blossoms to a single strand toward the clasp.
